ARA Safe Driving Initiative
Starting in 2010, ARA has started a driving safety program that is intended to not
only limit the possibility of our members getting injured while on an ARA
sponsored driving events but also to increase members’ awareness of what is
required of a California car club to run safe events. Other car clubs have started
such programs and have had success. The ARA Board
wants to be proactive in supporting a safe driving environment for all members.
Our policy is intended to be published regularly in the CAMS and is as follows:
The Alfa Romeo Association promotes safe driving by requiring members to:
1. Be a courteous driver at all times
2. Follow State and local driving laws and ordinances while on ARA
sponsored events.
3. Observe all rules of the road and good driving practices while driving.
