Track Day with FIAT America 2017
At Laguna Seca Raceway
Thanks to Michael Plitkins’ involvement with the County of Monterey with regard to the management and operations planning for Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway, we have secured a track day at the most prestigious and legendary racetrack on the West Coast. This is a speed event, where you can explore your car’s limits. With 11 turns and 180 feet of elevation change in a 2.24 mile lap, it is a Bucket List kind of venue. We are allowing you to drive your own car on this circuit with other adoring enthusiasts. Convertible cars must have rollover protection (late-model convertibles may have factory-provided protection that is acceptable). All participants must be 18 years old, or older, and wear an approved helmet when on the track.
The date is Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Be at the track at 7:30AM and we will run until 5:00PM. 90 dB sound limit strictly enforced. Cost is not completely finalized, but count on about $300 per entry.
We will have groups that run 20-minute-long sessions. There will be a full-racer advanced group, an expert group, and a beginner’s (and low-powered cars) group.
To enter, contact Gary Luke at gluke@garlic.com
Checks are to be made payable to Michael Plitkins.
Call Gary Luke at (408) 203-5731 for questions.
This event is made possible by Michael (and me) but would not be possible without the help of many others. All of us are looking forward to sharing an unforgettable day with you and your responsible acquaintances.
