On April 1st the Alfa Romeo Association will have the unique
opportunity to privately tour The Sonoma Valley (Schellville) Airport,
home to an amazing collection of vintage aircraft. Owner/pilot/Alfa
Romeo owner Chris Prevost and his wife Sheryl have invited us to see
these amazing pieces of aviation history close-up, including a walk thru
of the hangar workshop where Chris restores planes for his business,
Vintage Aircraft Co. and a photo opportunity for our Alfas with the
planes at mid-field!
We will gather there at 11:00 am and then at 11:30am enjoy a free lunch
that Chris and Sheryl are generously providing for the first 50 ARA
members!
So if you have always wanted an up close look at a P-51 Mustang or a
P-40 Warhawk, a Waco or a Stearman biplane and many more please plan to
attend with your Alfa. (Rides in some of the aircraft will also be
available for a fee)
Also after the tour we can have the option of driving to a winery or
even go to Sonoma Raceway 10 minutes down the road to watch the Vintage
Races!
